Is there a setup fee?
No. How's that for a simple answer?
How long will it take to set up my account?
Once your request is sent it will typically take less than four hours for your account to be set up, depending on the time of day. Seldom will it take longer than eight hours, and often it's done within an hour or less.
Will I have 24 hour access to my account?
Twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, three hundred and sixty five days a year. 2 AM, 5 PM, it matters none at all. The doors are always open.
Are there any hidden fees or charges?
No. The only charge is for the hosting, there are no additional costs involved. There's no need to worry about getting an unexpected bill in your email.
What payment methods do you accept?
Just about anything from PayPal to personal checks, cashiers' checks or money orders. Even cash works, though if you choose to send it you'll have to assume the risk that it might not make it this far.
How and when will I be billed?
After your thirty day trial period is up you'll be sent an email asking if you would like to continue using the service. If you choose to do so you will be given payment instructions in the email.
Billing is done on the first of each month and can be paid monthly, quarterly or yearly depending on your choice. Quarterly and yearly payments receive discounted rates.
Will my pictures ever be deleted?
Not unless you delete them or cancel your account, otherwise they'll be there until California falls into the Pacific Ocean. Maybe longer.
Will my pictures be resized or edited?
No, which, depending on your point of view, might be good or bad. If you've edited the image to your liking (or taken the perfect photo to begin with) and then upload it, you'll get the same image back when you link to it or open it in your browser. It won't be resized, compressed or edited into something less than what you started with.
On the other hand, if you upload a two megabyte monster sized picture with a pile of dirty laundry in the background, that's also what you're going to get back. No magic software here to create that perfect image. Not yet, anyway....
Can I use my account for my eBay auctions?
Yes, for eBay or any other online auction service. There are no restricted sites as of now.
Can I post my pictures on chatboards?
Yes. Chat boards, blogs, threaded discussion boards or wherever else you might feel the need to post an image. You can store your signature images, avatars and icons on your account without worrying about them being deleted.
Will my pictures be watermarked to advertise your site?
No. Your images won't be altered in any way.
If I exceed my bandwidth allowance will my pictures still display?
Yes. Typically if you exceed your bandwidth allowance every now and then nothing will come of it and your images and other files will still be available with no restrictions put on your account. If the overage is extreme or consistent month to month you will be asked to upgrade to a higher bandwidth plan option but your account will not be disabled.
Will you force any advertisements on my site?
No, it's your site to do with as you please. If you want to include advertisements from outside sources that's fine but none will be through auctionSuite.com.
Do you offer a web based control panel?
Yes. All domain accounts include access to an ensim control panel which will allow you to easily create subdomains, set up email accounts and databases, monitor your site's activity and even more.
Do you offer database support?
Yes, MySQL database support is included.
If I exceed my bandwidth allowance will my site still be available?
Yes. As with the image hosting accounts, any overages that are minor or infrequent will be overlooked. If the bandwidth usage exceeds the allowance on a regular basis you will be asked to upgrade but your site will not become unavailable due to bandwidth issues.
Can I use my account for eBay Motors?
Yes, but due to problems with people using the free trial for a single bandwidth intensive eBay Motors auction and then cancelling, hosting for eBay Motors is limited to paid accounts only. Any accounts found in violation of this policy will be suspended.
Are there any limitations on the usage of my account?
A few. None that will affect 99.9% of the users, but anything determined to be illegal, immoral or offensive may be grounds for account closure or suspension. Users found to be hosting pornographic or hate materials, warez, or anything that infringes on another person's or entity's rights, intellectual property, trademark or copyright will be asked to remove the offending content. If the content is not removed the account will be closed and any prepaid balance will be refunded.
Use of your account to send bulk, unsolicitated spam email is considered grounds for immediate account suspension or closure and will not be tolerated.
If I need more space do I have to wait until the next billing period?
No. Just visit auctionSuite.com's Contact & Support page and request an upgrade to your account. The upgrade will become effective as soon as your email is received but no additional charges will be due until the following month.
If I can't find the answer to my question here what do I do?
Click on the link at the top of this page for Contact & Support, fill in the form with as much detail about your problem as you can and then submit your question. You'll receive a response shortly.
